SAN FRANCISCO VOICE LESSONS

Our Studio Director and Founder, Elijah Cineas, is offering in-person lessons in San Francisco! This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring singers in the Bay Area, regardless of their age, to develop their talent, build confidence, and start performing.

Elijah Cineas is an experienced voice teacher and singer whose students have gone on to study music and musical theater at the college level. He has also helped several of his students become professional singers, and has trained active professionals. He is currently accepting students ages 8-adult.

Our San Francisco studio has a few major differences from our studios in Riverside, including our pricing and policies. These differences are a result of the operating costs and procedures that impact us in San Francisco.

The Cineas Studio Policies - San Francisco

All clients are required to familiarize themselves with The Cineas Studio’s policies. A link to this page is sent out to each client every semester, as well as any updates that take place throughout the semester. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in removal from the studio.

  • All instruction is pre-paid, and all payments are made online. Clients enrolled in weekly instruction are required to have a card on file. The card on file will be charged on the first of the month.

Lessons cannot proceed without payment, and accounts more than three days past due may result in removal from the schedule, with the time slot potentially offered to other clients.

All clients paying for group classes in installments are required to have a card on file.

  • Our tuition is “flat rate”. This means that the same amount will be charged every month, regardless of the amount of lessons in the month.

Please note that the cost of the 14 lessons in a semester is evenly distributed across 4 months.

  • Appointments are confirmed every two weeks as a result of the booking policy at the Music Center.

Payment is still required on a monthly basis.

The studio operates on a “pay-upon-booking” system to secure time and space for lessons. Appointments and enrollments are only confirmed once payment is received.

Once a client has requested an appointment or enrollment, the studio will immediately attempt to collect payment.

  • Students enrolled in the studio may be included in promotional materials such as social media posts, videos, and flyers, owned by The Cineas Studio.

If you have privacy concerns, please contact the studio administration to discuss accommodations.

  • The studio maintains a no-refund policy.

  • Lessons canceled less than 24 hours in advance will result in forfeiture of the lesson payment and time, except in cases of extreme emergency. Lessons canceled more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled if availability permits.

  • Makeup lessons granted due to timely cancellations must be rescheduled and completed within 7 days of the original appointment. After this period, the credit is forfeited. Makeups may be conducted with a teacher other than the student’s primary instructor. Makeups may also be virtual.

  • Students arriving late to a lesson forfeit the time they missed. Arrivals late by 15 minutes or more will result in the forfeiture of the entire lesson without a refund.

  • If a teacher cancels, reschedules, or arrives late, the studio will ensure the client receives all purchased lesson time.

Teachers are also required to communicate progress and assignments to parents after each lesson.

  • To discontinue enrollment in weekly lessons, the studio requires a 30-day notice. Failure to provide this notice will result in a ban from future activities until the account is settled.

If you would like to book lessons without committing to ongoing enrollment, please refer to “a la carte” pricing.

  • Teachers may recommend external opportunities they believe will benefit students. The studio does not take responsibility for student interactions or outcomes with these organizations.

  • As a result of our flat rate system, we do not offer proration for loss of a lesson credit, or inability to attend an appointment.

New clients enrolling for the first time will only be enrolled with 2 lessons remaining in the month (half-off first month), or at the beginning of a month (full price).

  • Your phone number will be used exclusively to send you messages you have opted to receive based on your consent. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

  • All ongoing students must complete at least three lessons per month. Students attending fewer than three lessons per month will be charged at “a la carte” rates and will lose their recurring appointment.
