Efraín Zúñiga

Hello! My name is Efraín Zúñiga, and I teach voice and beginning piano in English and Spanish. In addition to singing and teaching, I also have professional experience in administration, songwriting, and industry practice. I am thrilled to teach the next generation of bright and talented musicians.
As a vocal coach, I specialize in contemporary voice - I love working with students who want to sing pop, R&B, and similar genres. I also love working with aspiring songwriters! I coach students to build their style and musicianship, helping them to find their unique sound and develop effective artistry. My technical approach uses my foundation in classical vocal technique to help singers find vocal strength and freedom.
As a beginning piano teacher, I focus on making sure that students love music and build a strong foundation for playing and creating music.
I am currently completing my BA in Music at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music (CSULB), where I have taken classes in music education and vocal performance. I have also performed with the University Choir, Cantus, and mariachi ensemble.
